For Tutors
Want to become a peer tutor? Read the steps below to find out how to apply.
1. Sign up
Fill out this application form.
*You can only tutor subjects that you received a B or higher in. With a teacher recommendation, you can tutor for a class that you are currently in (this is for a subject like Gov or Lit in which there is no one who's passed the class yet).
2. Logistics
Once the application is submitted and approved, Peer Tutor Trainer Haely Pham will contact you for a peer tutor training workshop in C9 before you can begin.
3. Starting
Once you finish your training, you can go to Ms. Kat's room, C9, and accept a tutee's request from there. Haely or Database Manager Melody will send you an invite to our Canvas for communication. Please ensure that you accept it!
4. Submit Hours
Keep track of your hours using the timesheet and submit it to C9 at the end of each semester UNLESS you are a senior and need to turn in your hours before graduation. Take a picture of your sheet to keep a personal record.
